We are a small but dedicated and enthusiastic group of film makers. Our mission statement sounds a bit grand ...‘To promote education, skills and knowledge in filmmaking’... We do all that in a friendly and humorous way.
We do have lots of skills like advanced film editing including chroma key so if you don’t know what that is then perhaps you should join us and find out.
Our members make films of all sorts, dramas documentaries, one minute short comedies and help each other edit family and holiday footage. We have regular ‘in club’ competitions.
Our evenings are devoted to a programme to extend our knowledge and skills, plus
of course, tea and biscuits and socialising. We meet at Davis Estate Community Centre,
Chatham every second Thursday -
Some of our members who enter their films in National and International Film competitions and we have achieved a respectable collection of gold, silver awards together with many commendation certificates. We have also participated in local projects and the members filmed a year in the life of a Medway Mayor, commissioned jointly by the Mayor and Medway Council.
If you are over 18 years and interested in learning film making, or extending your
skills and joining filming projects then why not come and see us. You get two free
evenings as a guest then you are invited to join. Don’t be shy about coming we are
friendly housed-
